Auto Install Extension​

Setting Location: ayon+settings://aftereffects/auto_install_extension

When enabled, it will try to install AYON AfterEffects extension to user appData if it's not installed already.

Example: C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEP\extensions\io.ynput.AE.panel

It checks extension version for current addon version and updates it if necessary.
If artist has extension installed in original directory (Program Files), installation in appData takes a precedence. Works for Windows and MacOS.

OCIO config

Setting Location: ayon+settings://aftereffects/imageio

• Enable Color Management​: This toggle enables AYON's global color management. This toggle is a master switch that enables and disables the whole section.

    • Each rule consists of

Creator Plugins

Create Render

Setting Location: ayon+settings://aftereffects/create/RenderCreator

• Review: Sets the default value for the Review toggle in the publisher UI. When enabled, it marks the render as reviewable.

• Default Variants: Defines the default variants.

• Force Resolution and Duration Values from Task: When enabled, upon instance creation, the FPS, frame range, and resolution from the target publish context attributes are applied to the composition settings.

• Rename Composition to Product Name: When enabled, upon instance creation, the composition is renamed to match the product name.

Pubish Plugins

Collect Review​

Setting Location: ayon+settings://aftereffects/publish/CollectReview

• Enable/disable collecting reviews. If disabled, no review will be created at all.

Validate Scene Settings

Setting Location: ayon+settings://aftereffects/publish/ValidateSceneSettings

• Enable: The default state of the plugin.

• Optional: Allows the user to toggle this setting in the publisher UI.

• Active: The default value of the toggle in the publisher UI.

• Skip Resolution Check for Tasks​: Set regex pattern(s) to look for in a Task name to skip resolution check against values from DB.

• Skip Timeline Check for Tasks​: Set regex pattern(s) to look for in a Task name to skip frameStart, frameEnd check against values from DB.

Workfile Builder

Setting Location: ayon+settings://aftereffects/workfile_builder

Simple workfile template based on Task type.
First matched profile will be used as a workfile template.

Templated Workfile Build Settings

Setting Location: ayon+settings://aftereffects/templated_workfile_build

Workfile template builder with dynamic items via Placeholders
First matched profile will be used as a workfile template.

• Profiles:

  • + : Add a workfile template profile

  • Each profile consists of:

    

    • Task types: Specifies the task types this profile applies to.

    • Task names: Lists the task names relevant to this profile.

    • Path to template: Supports these Available Template Keys.

    • Keep placeholders: Enable this to replace placeholders without deleting them.

    • Create first version: When enabled, the built workfile will be saved if there are no previous workfiles in the work directory.
