there was a client idea - request that the new Browser should allow to list versions by time created/ published… sort of timeline based listing.
Use case:
Show me all prerender products and its `versions` for the whole project which have been published today in a list.
which basically means to use product filter for prerender product and published time/date as order/ group by attrib for such a list
@Luke Inderwick its quite interesting idea when using created at attrib for grouping that it would event. create groups by days (similar to status groups e.g. in progress, closed etc. but using date for such grouping instead) - resulting into day groups by days which might be super handy to track what has been done on particular day etc.

That will absolutely be possible with the correct filter and sorting.
If I’m in the Browser, selecting a Product shows the last version in the side panel. If a new version is published not only you don’t get any feedback (Ftrack warns with a strip warning to Refresh the page)
… but if you refresh the web page, you seem to be selecting the same product and but you see the same version as before while the new version is only showed if you re-select the product.
I see this as bug.

Thanks @Lorenzo Basurto, this is an interesting bug that probably only comes up when using the app in a real production environment.
Because the Browser page is undergoing a major refresh we make sure that is situation is handled better!

Refresh web page issue

One request for browser in both web and desktop is to have the ability to “show all in hierarchy”
Right now when clicking “Planning” I can see my product, but when clicking “_Admin” it shows nothing.
Would be nice to have an option to see all products within that hierarchy
