Paste Image from Clipboard for Product Thumbnails
It would be incredibly helpful if we could paste images directly from the clipboard when setting product thumbnails, instead of having to manually upload a PNG file each time. This would streamline our workflow and make the thumbnail setup process much faster and more intuitive.

I think it makes total sense to be able to paste an image when the thumbnail cell is selected.

Hello,
I think you refer to the web UI e.g. for the AYON folder
as the thumbnail in publisher UI can be paseted from clipboard

Yes we don’t use the publisher at all right now only the web ui. It is possible to drag and drop a locally saved image to the ayon folder and update its thumbnail but we can’t do that without having saved locally the image, so wondering if that would be possible with copy/paste image from clipboard instead.

You can already set the thumbnail easily during the publishing process.
Or when exactly do you want to paste the clipboard? In the web UI?

correct yes that’s for web ui to be able to manually assign a thumbnail to an ayon folder using copy/paste from an image.
