Organise folders in the Overview
Sometimes you may want to change a task or folders location in the project because things have changed or it was created in the wrong folder.
Add the ability to move the folders location:
Right click menu that lets you pick which folder to move it to.
Drag and drop the folder to the new location.

I wonder how it will affect the pipeline?
If I got you correctly, if a folder or task is created in the wrong location, administrators will be able to move it. But what if an artist starts working on that task? The files on the disk will remain unchanged.

Maybe it would be nice if it triggers some kind of automated task that ‘Republishes’ the files on disk (including moving workfiles to the new folder).

Renaming or re-orgainsig the existent project structure depends on the situation itself.
For clarity, I’m here thinking about a case if the folder path has renamed after artists started working.
Honsetly, I’m not sure how common is this case.
Keeping the project directories on disk in sync with project folder structure on AYON.
Maybe we can create another request for it. I think these two topics can live separatly althougt they share some things in commen.
Also, what about mentioning in the request’s description above when Organising folders in the Overview should be allowed? I think it should be disabled for any folder that has published products.
