Set Unit Scale

Setting Locaion: ayon+settings://max/unit_scale_settings

When enabled, AYON will verify the scale used in workfiles upon opening against the specified value. When users select "Fix," it will apply the defined value.

  • Scene Unit Scale: A menu to select between mm, cm, m or km.

Auto Key Default Value

Setting Locaion: ayon+settings://max/auto_key_default

  • Auto Key Default Frame: Defines a frame where a keyframe is automatically created when artists enable Auto Key their scenes.

Max Workspace

Setting Locaion: ayon+settings://max/mxp_workspace

  • Enable Project Creation: When enabled, this option will create workspace.mxp if it does not already exist.

  • Max mxp Workspace: Specify the content of workspace.mxp to be used during project creation.

Color Management (ImageIO)

Setting Locaion: ayon+settings://max/imageio

  • Enable Color Management​: This toggle enables AYON's global color management. This toggle is a master switch that enables and disables the whole section.

Render Settings

Setting Locaion: ayon+settings://max/RenderSettings

  • Default render image folder: Relative folder for your workfile to render to

  • AOV Separator character: this separtor will be used in the render file name.

  • Output Image Format: Render output format options, select between a varity of extenstions like exr, jpg, png and etc.

  • multipass: When enabled, it sets render settings to output separate AOV files. Disable it to output a single multi-layer file.

Create Review

Define the default settings for rendering camera review animations for the review product type.

  • Enable: The default state of the plugin.

Validate Frame Range (TyCache)

  • Enable: The default state of the plugin.

Validate Attributes

This validator ensures the property attributes are valid in 3ds Max.

Validate Camera Attributes

If a camera attribute value is set to 0, the system will automatically skip checking it.

Validate Loaded Plugin

This validator ensures the plugins are available for certain product types before publishing instances in 3ds Max. You need to click + button to add product type and the plugins you want to validate within it.
